Floor Prep
Waterproofing
Here is a job we completed last year where the client had rising damp that was wrecking the carpet tiles, soaking them with water, and making them peel easily.
First, we removed all the old carpet tiles and Lino. Then, we got our grinder onto the floor to remove all the old glue and give us a nice, clean base to work from.
Next, we applied a waterproof filler to patch any holes or imperfections so that our two waterproofing epoxy coats would stick to the floor properly.
To finish it off, we poured a self-leveling compound to ensure the floor was perfectly flat and ready for the new carpet tiles.
